Lori wrote these lyrics abut personal experiences to share and help others with similar difficult experiences. I tried my best to help her sharing this experience by putting music to her lyrics. I resisted the temptation of adding too many instruments when creating the sequence. Instead, I filled the musical space with eight backing voices (4 parts, doubled). I used a mellotron flute sample to mix things up at the end. Lori shared a video slideshow of her own creation on social media which received good response. A good project to close out 2020.
