This song got its start when my dad challenged me to make a Christmas song from scratch. I launched LMMS and laid down the sleigh bell part first. Then I made the 6/4 drum beat. I had recently found out how to use Sfizz in LMMS via Carla, so I loaded a pizzicato double bass and made the basic bass line. Now of course, I wasn’t done, so I added a violin part and the guitar arpeggio. At this point, I showed my work to Dad and he said, “Nice! kind of reminds me of Little Drummer Boy.” I agreed, and the song kind of wrote itself thereon out.
